Why is one brand word such a big deal on Etsy?
A rights owner can report a listing for a single word in a tag. Etsy removes the listing and records a strike against the shop, and repeated strikes can suspend the whole shop, not only the listing.
Does a clean result mean my shop is safe?
No checker can promise that. New marks are filed every day and some brands enforce words you would not expect. The check catches the marks that get reported on Etsy most. Members also get an alert when a new US or UK filing matches words in their listings. It is not legal advice.
Do you need my Etsy password?
